The Organization of Bar Investigators is a nonprofit organization formed to establish a professional organization for investigators, paralegals, and other individuals whose primary duties involve investigating attorney discipline matters, lawyer ethics, or the unauthorized practice of law and participate in the regulation of the legal profession. Membership includes access to member-only section of website, listserv, discount to the Annual Meeting, Annual Meeting materials, member directory, bar investigative resources from other jurisdictions, job board, and other education and network opportunities.

Please note that the Small (1-10), Medium (11-24) and Large (25+) Organization Membership are based on the size of the organization and includes all investigators/paralegals within that organization. The size of the organization is determined the same way as the National Organization of Bar Counsel determines their size, based on the number of staff attorneys in the jurisdiction.

Individual memberships are also available. Please email Melissa Cordova, at MCordova@iardc.org, for additional information. Individual membership is $30.00 per year. 

The membership year is April 1 - March 31.
